He's Still Got It!

On Friday night, Trevor and I went to the Neil Diamond concert. My plan was to surprise him with the tickets for Christmas, but he found out about the concert early on. So, I had to tell him about the surprise he ruined. But we were able to go with his friends to dinner beforehand - they made a promise they would all go to Neil Diamond together whenever he came into town, but our tickets weren't together so we parted ways at the concert. I don't think I have ever seen Trevor so excited and giddy in my whole life! He was freaking out the whole time saying things like, "He's still got it!", "Come over here, Neil!", "He pointed at me!" and "I LOVE YOU, NEIL!" It was honestly the cutest thing I have ever seen!

We Have A Christmas Tradition!!!

For the past three years, Trevor and I go see the christmas lights at Temple Square with our friends Tyler and Ali Allen. We now think of it as a yearly tradition! The weather wasn't unbearable, as it usually is this time of year, but the Christmas Concert at the Conference Center was going that night so traffic was kind of a nightmare...eventually, we got to Temple Sguare and had a blast! Here are a few pics for your enjoyment!

And lastly, a pic I thought was pretty neat.

Better Late Than Never...

A lot has happened in the past few weeks, but I am late in posting. Big surprise, I know. So, I have a few pics from the UTAH vs. BYU game, which was AWESOME! GO UTES!
Trevor and me at the end of the game.
All the fans rushing the field...they started rushing it with 30 seconds of the game left. So they had to run back behind the lines and wait.

Robyn had little Teagan on November 24th. She asked me to videotape so I was able to be there when he was born, which was such an incredible experience.

Me and Teagan

Also, it was my birthday is past Saturday. I didn't take any pictures really, so I apologize, but it was a fun day (actually, a fun weekend)! And I will try to keep this blog more current from now on!

Time to Admit...I'M HOOKED!!!

I promised myself that I wouldn't read the Twilight books until all the hype went away...that didn't happen. Then, I told myself I wouldn't get addicted to the books...and that didn't happen. Then, I swore I wasn't even going to see the movie until it had been in theaters for a while...but I don't think that will happen either. I've been sucked into the Twilight world. My co-workers - and especially Trevor - can't believe that I am so addicted when I was SO against them before. However, I am willing to admit that I was wrong!

Class of 1954

On Saturday, we went to a Murder Mystery Dinner at our friends, Bill and D's, house. If you haven't done one before, everyone dresses up as characters from a specific genre or theme and try to solve a murder. It's really fun! Our genre was the '50s! Here are some pics!
Trevor was the class nerd.
I was the cheerleader.
And here we all are in our costumes!

Trevor's character turned out to be the murderer. I've done 4 of these and have never been the murderer. But we had a lot of fun!

President Trevor Neilson

After only a few months in the Elder's Quorum Presidency, Trevor has been called as the Elder's Quorum President in our ward. The current president is moving out, and Trevor got the call. This kinda delays our plans of buying a house, but we feel good in our decision to stay for another year for Trevor to have this opportunity. Our Stake President asked the men in our ward to address Trevor as President Neilson...now, I am calling him that and he just gives me a dirty look. He, he! :)
CONGRATS Trevor! You're gonna be great!

Families Are Forever

My cousin, Trent, and his wife, Aubrey, recently adopted a little baby boy. He is the most precious thing! Yesterday, they officially adopted him and also had him sealed to their family. They invited Trevor and I to be there. It was one of the sweetest experiences I've had in the temple. I am so happy for them. It is so amazing to have the opportunity to be sealed to our families for time and all eternity. They are so blessed to have this bundle of joy in their lives!
This is little Jayden! Isn't he precious! You can see his older brother, Cole, behind him. They are such a cute family! CONGRATS!

Yep, I finally broke down...

So, I finally broke down and decided to start a Blog. I know, I said I would never do it. Well, don't be expecting me to be posting all the time. How often can I post, "I worked all week"? It would get pretty boring, right? But I figure that if I feel the need to post pics and such, then I will have to take pictures. I am horrible at taking pictures...even when I have a camera. So, let's see how well this works!
