NEW BLOG ADDRESS...

Blogger has completely messed up my being able to update any posts from this address.  I have tried to wait patiently, but nothing is happening so I have decided to create a new blog address:

trevandheath.blogspot.com

So, please redirect to that address (and make it the new address to find us).  I hope this fixes the problem!!!

Trevor The Triathlete

Trevor participated in his first Triathalon this past weekend. He is such an active, ambitious person. Not only did he do it, but he wants to continue to do more. I am so proud of his accomplishments and his drive to be better and to try new things. Maybe I can learn a thing or two from him! :)
Here are some pics of this momentous occasion.

BEWARE OF...Praying Mantis???

Some people have watch dogs, some people have alarm systems, but we have the best home protector of all...a praying mantis! Trevor told me last night that a praying mantis likes to live in my mom's wreath that hangs on the front door. I've never seen it so I didn't think too much of it until this morning when I was trying to lock the front door (it sticks sometimes). I was in a hurry so I decided I would just go back inside and leave through the garage...when out of nowhere I feel something jump on my chest. At first I thought it was a leaf from the wreath and then it moved! I freaked and threw it on the ground. I thought I hurt him, but I came home from work today to this...
Thankfully he is fine and protecting our home like a champ! I feel much safer knowing he is here being our silent-but-deadly guard and keeping predators away.
BEWARE!!!

Two Years and Counting!

It was Trevor and my 2 Year Anniversary this past Friday. Since we just went on a cruise, we were just gonna hang out in SLC, but Trevor had the great idea of going up to Logan (where I went to college) and stay overnight. It was so much fun! I got to see my best friend Erica, I got to go on campus and see everything again, I got to have cheese breadsticks from Pizza Plus, and we went to the Cache Valley Fair...which was more of a spur of the moment thing.

Me on the "A"

Old Main - the building I spent most of my time in on campus.

Merrill Hall - my on-campus apartment when I was a Freshmen.
Here is Trevor with the infamous "french fries". No one knows what the sculpture really is supposed to be, but that's what we call it.

Trevor is such an amazing husband! I think back to when we first started dating and how I almost lost him because of my stupidity and immaturity. But I came to my senses and never let him go since. Our wedding day was the best day of my life! And even though we have been through some difficult times, and still will go through them, I am so glad to have him to lean on. He has always been there for me and I know he always will! It has been two years of a fantastic marriage and I cannot wait for the rest to come. We have so much to look forward to! I love him so very much and cannot believe how lucky I am to have him as my husband!

Here are a few pics from our wedding day...

Back To Life, Back To Reality

We are officially back from our first cruise ever! It was one of the funnest vacations Trevor and I have ever had...and we are already missing it! Who wouldn't miss getting waited on hand and foot all day every day? I would definitely recommend going on a cruise to anyone!!!
We did so much fun stuff! Trevor enetered a "mens sexy legs contest" and a "belly flop contest", I entered a "womens biceps contest" and won a medal for being so pale, we saw a lot of shows and played some fun games, went rock climbing, mini golfing, swimming, dancing and of course ate A LOT!
We ported in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta. We went to the beach, swam and shopped. But the best - by far - was swimming with the dolphins in Puerto Vallarta. SO FUN!!!

Another Road Block...

Yesterday we had finished all our packing, had taken all the rest of the big stuff to the storage unit, were on our way back to the condo to eat some lunch when a bomb got dropped on us...the buyer of our condo backed out. 2 DAYS before we were going to close! Not only that, but we will not get any of the earnest money to pay for the repairs he demanded of us or to pay for the storage unit we had to get so that the condo would be empty for him to move in on Wednesday. I think it is completely ridiculous that someone can do this, especially when he wanted us to be out two weeks from when he made the offer...it just doesn't make any sense to me, but we will just have to keep our hopes up. So, back on the market we go...

Three's Company

GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!!! Trevor and I have sold our condo! They accepted our counteroffer yesterday, the appraiser came this morning, the inspector will look through our place tomorrow and we will be closing on the 24th of this month...less than two weeks. It's so weird because Trevor and I have lived there since we got married and in two weeks it will no longer be ours. Thankfully, my mom has offered to let us stay in her basement for a couple months until we find a house. Hopefully we will be able to buy my uncle's home in West Jordan, but there are still some kinks to work out. If not, we will find a great place to make our own and start a family. It's exciting to be getting to this next phase of our lives...WAHOO!!!

Mariner of the Seas

What is "Mariner of the Seas" you may ask. It is the name of the cruise ship Trevor and I will be departing on in July! We are SOOOO excited!! Neither of us has ever been on a cruise before. We started discussing the idea last week with a few of our friends and we booked our cruise yesterday. It's a Mexican Rivierra cruise and we will visit Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and - my personal favorite - Puerto Vallarta. I've been there twice before and cannot wait to see it again...so gorgeous! However, I am most excited to just be able to relax! And also the possibility of going on an excursion to swim with the dolphins. I have ALWAYS wanted to do that! Let's just hope I don't gain 50 pounds while on the cruise! :)

Here's to Rascal Flatts

Trevor and I decided that the best Valentine's Day gift for each other this year would be tickets to the Rascal Flatts concert. Seeing as my birthday was in December, then Christmas, and then Trevor's birthday just last week...we really couldn't think of any gifts to give each other.
I've never been to a Rascal Flatts concert, but I have heard that they put on a great show. Trevor and I were so impressed with their concert! We had a lot of fun!
I tried to get a good picture of Trevor and me, but he was not being cooperative...
FYI...the song that is playing right now on my blog is their newest single. They sang it at the concert and I LOVE it! Enjoy!

HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY TREVOR!!!

So, I am a little late in posting this momentous occasion...but only by a few days! It was Trevor's birthday this past Saturday, February 21st. He did have to work that day, but we were able to celebrate that night. We went with Trevor's family to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner and then went back to his parents' house for cake and gifts! Here are a few pics!
Robyn, Brian, Hayden & Teagan gave Trevor some shirts!

I gave Trevor a dress shirt and a Utah mug! He got a Utah t-shirt as an early gift from me for the Sugar Bowl game in January, and my family gave him some Utah stuff he didn't have yet (i.e. flags, a Sugar Bowl Championship hoodie and hat, 2005 Fiesta Bowl DVD, etc.)

Cake anyone? Trevor blowing out his b-day candles!

Happy Birthday Trevor! I hope it was a good one!

Jeff Foxworthy and The Standards

It was my Dad's birthday on February 1st, so we decided to take him to the Jeff Foxworthy comedy show on Friday night. Before the show started, his opening act was a country boy band called "The Standards". Think of a mix between Rascal Flatts and N'Sync...but not nearly as talented. But not only did they sing, they kept trying to get all these rednecks and hicks to sing and dance along with them. My whole family just sat there confused as to what was going on. Thankfully, they finished and Jeff Foxworthy came out. He was really funny and we had a good time.
This is a picture of my brother and sister.

Gymnastics and Ice Cream

Since Trevor is such a crazed Ute Football fan, and since we have to go to all the home games every year, we have made a compromise that he needs to come with me to all the Ute Gymnastics home meets. However, I think that we enjoy doing both every year. Trevor also ALWAYS tries to catch any of the free stuff that they give away at the games and meets, but he always comes up empty handed. Well, on Friday night at the gymnastics meet, Trevor ended up catching a free ice cream cone that the cheerleaders were throwing out! He was so happy that I thought I'd post it!

2009 All-State Sugar Bowl Champions! GO UTES!!!

The odds were stacked against them...Alabama thought they had the game in the bag...but Utah came out to win!!! What a game and what fun to see Utah shine last night. It was even more fun to see how excited Trevor got when they won! I must admit, I didn't think that we were going to win, but it was obvious that Utah wanted it more than Alabama! So, I just want to say Congrats Utes and thanks for the perfect end to the perfect season!!!
Here are some pics I found online from the game last night...too bad we weren't there to enjoy it firsthand!
